We now are 100% Grass Fed. Occassionally we might use some feed to help supplement harsh weather in winter or summer months, but this is only in extreme conditions when grass is difficult to find. When we do, we choose feed made with no growth hormones and no animal by-products. We purchase some of our feed from Performance Livestock and Feed out of Lawsonville, NC. Their feed is a High Energy Feeder Blend that contains a mixture of corn, soy beans, peanuts and peanut hulls. There are absolutely no growth hormones or animal by-products in our feed, guaranteed.
